Early Voting

Dates: April 4th and April 5th
Location: City Hall
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Election Day

Date: April 8th
Location: City Hall
Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Election Overview

The Group 2 Election presents a head-to-head race between Camryn Henry and Jason Jones. As of 9:00 p.m. on April 3rd, the Hillsborough County Supervisor of Elections reported a total of 326 mail-in votes, representing a modest 1.45% voter turnout.

Jason Jones was elected unopposed in 2022, following the retirement of former commissioner Rick Lott. This year, he faces his first challenger, Camryn Henry, making this the only contested race of the current election cycle.

To cast your vote during early voting, you must:

Live within Plant City limits
Be a registered voter

Other Election Notes

In 2024, Mary Thomas Mathis was re-elected unopposed.
During this election season in 2025, Nate Kilton also secured his position unopposed.
In 2023, Mike Sparkman narrowly defeated Jeremy Griner, earning Sparkman his 10th term on the commission. Unfortunately, voter turnout for that election was notably low, at just 7.98%.
