Information:

As of October 2024 Plant City Commissioners are paid an annual salary of $9,741.59.

They are also provided with health insurance.

Requirements to run:

-Must live within city limits for at least 1 year before the election.

-Must be a registered voter.

Latest Election Results:

On April 8th, 2025, Jason Jones defeated Camryn Henry in the group 2 seat election. In the same 2025 election, Nate Kilton was reelected unopposed after his prospective opponent dropped out of the race before the qualifying period opened; therefore, there was no election.

Next Election:

The next election will be held on April the 7th, 2026. In the April election, William D. Dodson and Michael S. Sparkman will be up for reelection.
