According to recently obtained property records, Waffle House Inc. acquired an approximately one-acre site in October, though the purchase price has not been made public. The property is strategically located on S. Frontage Road, nestled between a Popeyes restaurant and a self-storage facility, making it a prime spot for potential development.
The site, once part of a larger parcel, has since been divided into three plots now occupied by Davita, the self-storage facility, and the newly acquired Waffle House site.
At this time (and to our knowledge), no permits, site plans, or other relevant documents have been filed that would indicate immediate construction activity. However, the location’s visibility and accessibility, combined with Waffle House’s track record of expanding into high-traffic areas, suggest that the likelihood of a new restaurant being built here is quite strong. While timelines remain uncertain, local buzz has already begun, with many speculating that this spot is poised to become Plant City’s newest Waffle House.
