The property under consideration is located just south of Alexander Street, positioned directly behind the Bank of Tampa and several medical offices, making it an area with convenient access to existing community services and infrastructure. This extensive development project will cover approximately 40 acres, transitioning the land from its current use as agricultural space to a residential community. Planned for this site are around 306 townhome units, designed to meet the growing demand for housing in the area.

The development’s access is intentionally designed to be limited to a single entrance on Baptist Church Road, aimed at controlling traffic flow and preserving the character of neighboring roads. Importantly, based on the latest plans, there will be no designated entrance or exit from Charlie Griffin Road, which should help minimize potential traffic disruptions for residents along that route. This access strategy reflects a focus on maintaining a balance between new growth and the impact on nearby streets and existing community structures. This should come as a pleasent suprise considering recent findings from the Massive Industrial Park to be Built in North Plant City which will have direct access to a much smaller more residental road in the area.

In the coming months, we are optimistic that additional information will be shared with the public regarding this significant development. As a project that will permanently transform the landscape and character of Plant City.
